The Midweek Conservation Groups
The Midweek Conservation Group is a group of volunteers who have a concern for the environment and a desire to improve it through practical action. Volunteers meet during the week and work on a variety of interesting sites and projects throughout Dorset.
All you need to do is arrive at the pick-up point at the time on the programme. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day, but please bring:
- a packed lunch
- strong footwear, preferably steel toe-capped boots
- Waterproof clothing - essential!!
- Some sites may be remote and exposed - please also ensure you bring plenty of warm clothing, including hat and gloves
