Environmental activities for schools with Richmond BTCV
BTCV are a conservation charity committed to involving volunteers in the protection of their local environment. In Richmond we work on green spaces throughout the borough including school grounds. If you would like to get pupils more interested in the natural areas around them, then BTCV could provide the expertise and tools to help you achieve this. We provide a variety of services to schools, these include:
- Advice on wildlife areas
- Creation of wildlife areas including ponds, hedgerows, willow sculptures, etc
- Environmental education activities
- Funding Advice
- School groups can also join our Community Network (see below for details)
For more information on the services we can provide please contact Carrie Marples at C.Marples@btcv.org.uk or 0208 831 6150.
All around the UK, more people than ever before are getting together in community groups to improve their local environments. BTCV's Community Network already supports several thousand local groups.
Join them now to take advantage of competitively-priced insurance, discounts on training and merchandise, and access to grants. For more information visit the Community Network section.
