Virtual Tatton

Not sure how long the RHS will have this page available, but if you weren't able to get to this year's Tatton show, you can see what you missed here. There's a virtual 360° tour and a slideshow. And even if you DID manage to get along, or were involved in building the prize winning BTCV@50 garden, you can remind yourself what it was like.

Many thanks to the organisers for making this excellent tour avaible online.

RHS SHOW at TATTON PARK: BTCV@50

Day-by-day construction of the BTCV garden at this year's RHS Show at Tatton Park, Cheshire. We'll be taking pictures throughout the building of the garden and look forward to seeing you there between 22–26 July on Stand C66.

Between 21 July and 26th July BTCV Northern Region is taking on its biggest challenge of the year, the creation of a garden at the prestigious RHS Tatton Show.

BTCV@50 is a celebration of our organisation’s 50th birthday, representing fifty years of conservation volunteering. It aims to showcase the diversity of opportunities available through BTCV for volunteers to make a difference, both in their environment and in their lives.

The garden (see below) will reflect some of the habitats and landscapes of North West England that inspire people in the region to volunteer with us in the first place. It uses similar design elements and is of the same scale as many of the wildlife gardens we create for schools or other community organisations. It is intended to serve the same type of purpose as these gardens in enthusing people about their environment, bringing people closer to wildlife, food growing and practical skills, and, most importantly, enabling people to get personally involved and sharing the experience with others.

Don’t take our word for it…come and see us!
