BTCV London : Career in conservation

Tuesday 7 February 2012

Want a career in conservation?

BTCV can offer a range of employment opportunities from project managers to administrators and guided walk leaders to environmental trainers. To find out what BTCV has to offer currently visit our national website.

If you lack that job-securing practical experience and have time to offer on a regular basis why not become a BTCV Volunteer Officer?

In addition to hands on experience organising, supporting and running practical environmental tasks you would receive a comprehensive package of training. Subjects available include risk assessment, first aid and equal opportunities awareness, as well as the traditional range of habitat management skills. These skills provide an excellent grounding from which to launch yourself into an environmental or countryside management career.

Joining us as a VO is also a rewarding way to put something back into your community even if you have no desire to seek employment in the sector.

Check out VO opportunities nationally here, or to apply to join the London team call 0207 278 4292, email London@btcv.org.uk or contact your nearest BTCV field office.
