Volunteer Officers in Kent

BTCV as an organisation rely heavily upon the work of volunteers. Whilst many people volunteer on projects based in their local area, there are others who enjoy helping out behind the scenes or are looking to gain valuable work experience to add to their CVs in an effort to gain paid employment in the world of conservation.

For these people, BTCV operate a Volunteer Officer programme whereby people can get more involved in the work of BTCV and become a valued member of the local team. There are a variety of posts that need filling ranging from admin duties to working on site visits and practical projects.

With the development of The Singleton Environment Centre in Ashford, run by BTCV a number of other opportunities to help with the operations of the centre and grounds are also available.

In return for helping BTCV out on a regular basis, volunteer officers are offered help with their expenses and access to BTCV training.
