Singleton Logo

The Singleton Environment Centre is an exciting new development in Ashford which opened to the public in May 2008.

Singleton Environment Centre will provide a full and imaginative programme of activities catering for people of all ages from both the local community and visitors to Ashford, run by BTCV in partnership with Ashford Borough Council.

Rooms in the centre are available for hire to community groups, voluntary and charity groups, businesses and individuals.

Activities at the centre include environmental, conservation and educational activities, fitness classes, holistic health treatments, arts and entertainment and community events.

The project will serve as a local attraction and environmental education resource for local primary schools and a growing number of environmental groups and projects in the borough.

The Singleton Environment Centre has been built adjoining the Ashford Community Woodland, a green space designed and managed by the local community.

The Singleton Environment Centre boasts its own cafe & bistro. Footprints serves local and homemade produce. Footprints can cater for any meeting or function held in the centre.
