Footprints Cafe Bistro
Footprints Cafe Bistro is located within the Singleton Environment Centre and is open to the public as well as catering for all centre events and meetings.
Footprints follows the theme of conservation and environmental awareness, by serving local and seasonal produce with ethically farmed meats and fish set in an unpretentious, elegant and relaxing location.
Footprints are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sundays for Kentish carvery roast lunches between 12 & 4pm. Booking advisable.
Tuesday to Saturday a breakfast menu is served from 9am and the lunch menu is available between 10am and 3pm with drinks and snacks available anytime.
The food is freshly made with as much seasonal local produce as possible. There are local beers and wines, as well as some excellent European examples. Conscious of food miles ‘local’ is strongly featured as well as sustainability.
For events at the centre, Footprints provide a high quality catering service to meet all dietary requirements and budgets. They can cater for any event held at the centre from meetings & conferences to other functions.
Footprints is fully licensed and has already scored the top 5 stars from Ashford Borough Council's Environmental Health team under the Scores on the Doors scheme.
Footprints is a family affair, run by Singleton residents Gary, Candida and Joshua Gibbs, pictured here taking over from previous operators, Jessica Karp and Alex Davis in September 2010.
Whether you want to sample the fairtrade teas and coffees with a homemade cake or lunch or dinner, or a Sunday roast, you'll always find great food and a warm welcome.
