BTCV is governed by a board of 6 volunteer trustees elected by the charity membership
VOLUNTEERS
BTCV currently supports 140,000 volunteers to take practical action to improve their urban and rural environments.

BTCV currently supports both directly and indirectly
- 2225 local community groups involving over 106,000 people
CONSERVATION HOLIDAYS
BTCV operates practical conservation holidays in over 20 countries world-wide. In 2004 there were:
- 210 UK Conservation Holidays
- 72 International Conservation Holidays

BTCV has a complete training programme that covers topics from practical conservation to personal development including:
