There’s lots to be said about climate change. But, more importantly, there’s lots to be done.

The BTCV Carbon Army is our practical, hands on response to this global challenge.

Every day BTCV volunteers are in action, tackling the impact of climate change through tasks such as:

  • Planting trees to lock up carbon
  • Managing water courses to reduce flood risks
  • Growing food to cut CO2 emissions from food miles.

Please will you encourage them and register your support?

This will help us send out the message that practical action really can make a difference – to people, to local communities and to the planet.

Please will you join them? Volunteer now!

Copenhagen to Cancun

During the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen last November, BTCV volunteers undertook over 6,000 days of positive climate change action – double our original target of one day for each of the 3,000 delegates. Read all about it. [460Kb pdf]

As politicians and pundits move on to the next major conference in Mexico, November 2010, BTCV Carbon Army volunteers continue to turn words into action, with practical tasks all over the UK and further afield.

Time for you to join in?
