Welcome to BTCV Wiltshire. We co-ordinate many projects within Wiltshire offering a range of projects across the county, including nature conservation activities which anyone can get involved in, and specific projects for different groups in society.

We offer people opportunities to gain new skills and experiences which in turn allows them to make a positive contribution to their local community. There are opportunities for training and accreditation, and for you to gather the right experience for a career in nature conservation or community work.

How you could get involved

• Midweek Conservation Group - carry out practical conservation projects every Thursday in Salisbury and Southern Wiltshire.
• Weekend Conservation group (adults only) which goes out on the first Saturday of the month in Salisbury and Southern Wiltshire.
• Young People’s Projects - young people undertaking practical conservation projects to help improve their local environment throughout Wiltshire
• Training - BTCV's own in-house training courses. From short courses in practical skills, such as dry stone walling, hedgelaying, woodland management, leadership and risk assessment, to long courses such as NVQ's in Environmental Conservation
• Community projects - We run a range of projects involving local communities in various parts of the county
• Conservation Holidays - Weekend or week-long projects which are a great way to meet new friends, get away from day-to-day of life and, of course, get lots of conservation work done
• Green Gym - benefit your health whilst also benefiting the environment and your local community
• Partnerships - BTCV works in partnership with many organisations within Wiltshire - find out how we could work with YOUR organisation
