The Third Sector Declaration
BTCV has publicly demonstrated its commitment to tackling climate change by being one of the first Third Sector Organisations to sign the Third Sector Declaration on Climate Change.
The Declaration commits BTCV to "Adopt public plans and appropriate strategies to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions … and make these plans public within a year".
The Declaration was signed by BTCV's Chairman Rupert Evenett in the presence of Government Ministers David and Ed Miliband in June 2007.
