Welcome to BTCV Cornwall. This office covers the whole of Cornwall, offering many opportunities for people to become involved. We have a wide variety of projects that you can get involved with and our work includes:
- PACT - Running a large programme of practical conservation day projects on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays - find the latest opportunities
- A programme of Saturday projects for students at the Combined Universities
- Providing practical volunteering opportunities in conservation and horticulture for adults with learning difficulties
- Youth Projects - Introducing young people to practical conservation work and employment opportunities with practical conservation projects and taster days
- Community Projects - Working with and supporting community groups managing local sites & projects
- Diplomas - Providing training courses in countryside management, wildlife ID and other skills and NPTC Diplomas in Work-Based Environmental Conservation, Level 2 & 3 and Horticulture, Level 1 & 2
- Volunteer Officers - You could help lead BTCVs projects by becoming a VO. You will gain valuable experience and we provide free training in practical conservation skills as well as training in first aid, leadership, driving our minibus etc. There is also the opportunity to complete a free Diploma in Environmental Conservation. Becoming a VO has helped many people go on to full time employment.
